Relax and enjoy a spring weekend visiting designer gardens in Victoria, the Garden State. Join a friendly
tour and take the stress out of finding these outstanding gardens on your own.
Escorted by Horticulturist and Garden Designer Beverley Read, a self confessed “plantaholic”, you will visit
some of Melbourne’s most stunning residential gardens. Travel by bus in relaxed air-conditioned comfort
and take in all that both our prominent and upcoming designers have to offer. This represents an exclusive
opportunity to visit privately owned gardens, rarely opened to the public, with the added bonus of having the
designer present at the open gardens to meet, greet and answer your design queries.
Take a one or two day tour - each day you will see at least six different gardens, enjoying a light lunch with
refreshments en route. With over 20 gardens open the variety is enticing, the plant pictures a delight to the
eye and the professional designs full of inspiring ideas to take home.
You will also be supporting a wonderful cause. Organised by the Rotary Club of Kew, with John Patrick as
Chairman, all proceeds from the event are donated to charity.
